By 2015, online daily fantasy sports (DFS) had burst onto the scene and with its proliferation of ads offering millions of dollars in prizes. This caught the attention of many state regulators and attorneys general who proceeded to ban DFS under the theory that it was not a contest of skill but illegal gambling. In this webinar you will learn the legal basis for operating DFS games, as well as the ability to differentiate among gambling, games of chance and skill contests, to help you understand the crux of the current debate on the legality of DFS. You will also be kept abreast of the many recent legislative and court developments affecting DFS and learn skills that can be applied in many different promotional areas.
