About Gianni Pirelli
Dr. Pirelli is Board Certified in Forensic Psychology (ABPP) and is a Licensed Psychologist in New Jersey and New York. He leads the group practice, Pirelli Clinical and Forensic Psychology, LLC, which provides a wide range of clinical and clinical-forensic services (www.gpirelli.com
). Dr. Pirelli is the Editor of his state association's journal, the New Jersey Psychologist, and he has taught over 40 post-doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate courses. Dr. Pirelli's research has been cited in amicus briefs to the United States Supreme Court and to the New York Court of Appeals, and he has numerous publications, including three books with Oxford University Press: “The Ethical Practice of Forensic Psychology: A Casebook” (2017), “The Behavioral Science of Firearms: A Mental Health Perspective on Guns, Suicide, and Violence” (2019), and "Guns and Clinical Practice: A Handbook for Medical and Mental Health Professionals" (forthcoming, in progress).
