The decision to start your own law practice is not to be taken lightly, and a PI practice is one of the most difficult types of practices to establish. There are many things to consider when starting any type of business. This course will explore all aspects of not just starting a PI practice, but of starting a small business.

  • Rafael Carrillo
    Rafael Carrillo graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 2012. Together with his wife, Yazmin, he runs Carrillo Law Center in Stockton, California. Rafael was recognized as a Top 10 Personal Injury attorney by American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys and Lawyers of Distinction in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Rafael was born and raised in Stockton. He attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and graduated in 2012. Shortly thereafter, Rafael became the managing attorney of Miller Law Corporation where he started working as a receptionist in 2006. Rafael is passionate about helping injured persons. Having practiced exclusively in Personal Injury, he understands the needs of persons who have suffered an injury as the result of an accident.
