Amy Elizabeth Allemann is an associate attorney at Hale & Associates Family Law in Carlsbad. Ms. Allemann has been a practicing attorney in the state of California for over 15 years. She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. In law school, she earned three prestigious American Jurisprudence Awards for academic excellence in Immigration Law, Professional Responsibility and Property. Additionally, she was awarded the Corpus Juris Secondum award for both Property and Torts. During law school, she served as Staff Editor and Staff Writer for the California Western International Law Journal and the California Western Law Review.
Amy Allemann has handled not only family law litigation but also complex civil litigation, business litigation, and personal injury matters. She has partnered on trial teams for multi-million-dollar construction defect cases, employment matters, business litigation, real estate, and HOA litigation, personal injury and contract cases. In the federal case Polanksi v. KLM Airlines, she established a legal precedent on location of contract formation for purchasing online airline tickets. More recently, she was part of the trial team in the U.S. Grant v. APMCmatter where she helped to obtain a significant six-figure recovery of damages for the client as well as an attorney fee award in excess of three million dollars. In that same case, she drafted and argued the opposition to a Motion to Dismiss and then assisted in drafting a Petition for Writ of Mandate which resulted in published case law on the limitations of Sovereign Immunity for Native American tribes.
Ms. Allemann is also very active in the community. For the past several years, she has held the position of Secretary of the Parents’ Association for the San Diego French-American School. She also serves on the leadership group for the Falcon Nation/Y-Explorers, as part of the Magdalena Ecke YMCA Adventure Clubs and is very active with Cub Scouts. Formerly, Ms. Allemann was the President of the Board of Directors for San Diego Stand Up for Kids, President of the Board of Directors of Peppermint Ridge Family and Friends Group, a facility for Developmentally Disabled adults and has also been a foster parent. In 2006, Ms. Allemann was accepted into and participated in LEAD San Diego’s exclusive Leadership college.
