About Dennis Brislawn

Dennis Brislawn is a principal attorney shareholder in Oseran Hahn, P.S., a multi-attorney firm located in Bellevue, Washington.  He is a nationally-recognized speaker, author, and legal systems architect as a principal member of the WealthCounsel Companies.  He is the recipient of the Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent Review Rating, is rated “superb” on AVVO.  He has been recognized in print and as a radio talk show host.

Dennis goal is to help individuals and families to protect those they love and all they own.  Admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, before the Federal Bar and the IRS, he advocates for individuals, families, and small businesses.  Client representations include estate & gift tax planning, estate & gift tax audits, asset protection, business planning and succession, advanced estate and charitable planning. He particularly enjoys co-counseling cases with colleagues from all over the United States and sometimes internationally.

Dennis is a principal member of WealthCounsel, LLC, which provides systems in support of thousands of estate and business planning attorney practices nationwide. Among the numerous systems, Dennis has co-authored or authored for the legal profession include a number of WealthCounsel’s Wealth Docx® systems including Revocable Living Trust, Limited Partnership, Limited Liability Company, and SettlementCounsel™, with the latest being Gun Docx®.  He created the GoldDATA® contact management system and co-authored the WealthData™ System distributed by Premier Software.  He is the author of numerous CLE presentations as well as print and online articles covering a variety of estate planning and related subjects.  “An Accidental Felony” was published by Trusts & Estates magazine a few years ago.

Dennis is married and a retired Army officer with active and Reserve service.  He was awarded Airborne Ranger and French Army Commando qualifications among other awards.

Today, Dennis is active in King County Search & Rescue Association and the Washington State Animal Response Team.  He has served in a number of leadership positions in SAR units and served on the Board of the State SAR association.  His volunteer activities can take him into the forests, mountains, towns, and cities of Western Washington at all hours and in any weather working with his teammates to help get a lost or hurt person or animal home safe.
