Rob’s litigation practice includes complex commercial disputes involving corporate, contract, employment and trademark law. His recent cases include representing a foreign aircraft lessee against a potential lessor of two 737 aircraft in federal court in Illinois; representing a recognized national brand of pool products against a competitor for selling products in breach of a settlement agreement in federal court in Florida; representing a short-term lender against a borrower for non-payment of bridge financing in federal court in Connecticut; and representing a global advisory business in a dispute with its former business partner in a New York arbitration.
His practice includes federal and state courts, as well as domestic and international arbitrations. His experience also covers appellate practice in Connecticut and New York.
He recently obtained a multi-million dollar award for a Thai aircraft representative against a large air cargo carrier following a multi-day arbitration hearing before the International Chamber of Commerce in London. He also recently argued successfully before the New York State Appellate Division on behalf of multiple defendants the appeal of a dismissal of an action for unfair competition against fleet-fueling companies.
