Professor Jim O’Reilly recently authored his 54th textbook, “Pandemics & Covid-19: Medical & Workplace Challenges”, for, after receiving a rare honor when the U.S. Supreme Court quoted his text “Food & Drug Administration” (West) with the words “The experts have written…”. The MD/MPH students in his classes at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine have been keeping up with coronavirus developments, and their questions stimulated this deep dive into how Covid-19 can impact on the difficult law practice and hospital management issues. He is a 19-year council member in an Ohio city and has worked with municipal and private efforts to enhance public health protections. His 225 articles and frequent CLE events in healthcare and related fields have been widely quoted and recognized.
