Course Description

This program was recorded on April 9, 2021

As attorneys and other professionals in the legal field, you often come across business clients who may be engaging in questionable, if not unethical conduct. Such conduct, while seemingly legal, may become unlawful overtime or, at the least, negatively impact their business. As their legal advisor, you may have a duty to address these concerns with your clients and learn how to recognize unethical conduct and how to address it. In fact, your clients may actually seek your advice on such matters. This course will provide insight into why companies knowingly engage in unethical conduct, what to look for, how to distinguish usual business tactics from truly unethical conduct, and some ethical theories which are useful in deciding on a proper ethical course.
