Course Description

This program was recorded on May 25, 2021

Many times lawyers assume that ethical rules mainly implicate our litigation counterparts. And if you read the model rules of ethics and the rules of ethics adopted in many states litigation situations are often contemplated within the rules. But that doesn't mean that transactional lawyers don't have to deal with a host of issues in contract review and negotiation that might implicate ethical rules. This course will highlight some of the key ethical rules that transactions lawyers need to be thinking of and how they can structure their contract review work to avoid some common ethical downfalls.
