Course Description

This program was recorded on November 16, 2018

Buying a franchise is often the first business ownership endeavor for franchisees and review of the exhaustive franchise disclosure document can be a daunting task. Lawyers providing legal services to their franchisee clients can greatly alleviate the client’s discomfort and help them make informed decisions. Negotiating a franchise agreement can often be a very different process as compared to most other business contract negotiations or even settlement agreements. Practitioners will get a basic understanding of the unique features and requirements of a franchise relationship and the specific areas where they can provide their clients with the most value.
