Course Description

This program was recorded on April 2, 2021

In an industry riddled with convoluted federal and state regulations, cannabis businesses are often forced to innovate and adapt to changing requirements and restrictions in order to remain competitive. From the protection of trade secrets, to patent protections, marijuana businesses must find unique ways to navigate intellectual property rights until federal legalization allows for registration with the US Patent and Trademark Office. This presentation will provide insight into obstacles the cannabis industry faces regarding Intellectual Property rights, and what protections are available for the multiple facets of a cannabis business.
