Course Description

This program was recorded on July 20, 2018

The current conflict between federal and state law creates unique challenges for attorneys working in states that have legalized cannabis for medicinal and/or adult-use. These states must develop their own regulatory framework and establish professional standards, all with a careful eye to federal action. This seminar addresses the approach taken by Washington state, as an example, focusing specifically on how legalized cannabis has affected health care providers, patients, and the retailers.
