Laws regarding surrogacy and adoption can creates obstacles and confusion for LGBTQ community. This course will cover the how the law differs for heterosexual couples and homosexual couples when it comes to surrogacy and adoption. An overview of the difficulties LGBTQ communities face as they navigate through the system to create parenthood. Options for whether adoption or surrogacy is better for the LGBTQ community will also be discussed. How gay couples can be protected by the law in California will be discussed as well.

Evie Jeang is the President and CEO of Surrogacy Concierge.
