Learn how the Bankruptcy Code implicates personal relationships. The course will cover the ways bankruptcy affects current and former partners and spouses, including through the automatic stay, discharge, income, and liabilities. The goal of the course is to provide practitioners with an idea of potential issues to raise and counsel clients on when considering filing or responding to a bankruptcy filing.
Andrea Gandara advises clients regarding bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters. This advice includes assisting businesses, banks, and other lenders on creditors’ rights issues, initiating and defending against lawsuits in state and federal court, and judgment collection. She also counsels on contract formation, loan agreement enforcement, and real property title disputes.
1.5 General Credit
ProLawCLE will seek approval of any CLE program where the registering attorney is primarily licensed with exceptions stated below. Application is made at the time an attorney registers for a course, therefore approval may not be received at the time of broadcasting.
