This course will cover the basics of prescribing controlled substances via telemedicine encounters pursuant to Florida and Federal Laws. The intricacies of Florida law regarding prescribing substances and control of substances in different healthcare scenarios will be covered. Federal policies including the Controlled Substance Act and the Support Act will also be discussed.
