Renewable energy hedges are an increasingly popular option for renewable energy projects looking to sell electricity. This course will provide an overview of the different types of hedges for renewable energy projects, including financial and physical hedges. Commercial strategies and legal documentation will be discussed, as will best practices for renewable energy developers.
Christine Brozynski is a senior associate at Norton Rose Fulbright’s project finance team, based in New York. Her practice focuses on the financing and development of energy projects, including with respect to debt and tax equity financings, commodity hedging arrangements, acquisitions and project documentation. She has significant experience working on corporate power purchase agreements, commodity hedging and other offtake arrangements for energy projects, including proxy revenue swaps, fixed-volume hedges, proxy generation power purchase agreements and revenue puts.
1 General Credit
