Entertainment Law: An Overview” gives a concise and informative review of what it means to practice entertainment law. The seminar looks at the relevant areas of law that are used in the entertainment industry, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property and securities. The Seminar will also give an overview of typical clients and matters that an Entertainment Law attorney will face in the course of the day-to-day practice of Entertainment Law, including ethical concerns when representing multiple clients in the closed-circle world of entertainment.



  • Stephen Wade Nebgen
    Mr. Nebgen has been practicing entertainment law as a copyright attorney and intellectual property attorney for close to twenty (20) years. He has been involved in the entertainment industry for over forty (40) years. His clients include film, television and theatre companies, actors/actresses, musicians and many authors and painters. He counsels clients regarding business formation, intellectual property matters in motion pictures and music copyright laws and trademarks, contract negotiations, and other corporate law matters. Mr. Nebgen has also been called as an "expert witness" regarding entertainment issues in various litigation matters.
