Course Description

Relationships are a vital asset for any modern business. Whether it’s the relationships of principals within a business or the company’s relationships with outside stakeholders like customers and vendors, success in business relies on sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships between the company and those it interacts with. All businesses though are subject to disagreement and outside disruption that can damage or even destroy those critical relationships. You can aid your clients in keeping those relationships healthy and high performing with one of the lawyers most basic tools – the contract – but doing so requires some shifts in the traditional approach to contracting. You must help your client develop Conscious Contracts. This course will provide an introduction to a cutting edge approach to negotiating agreements and drafting contracts that will help you bring consistent value to your clients.
