Course Description

This program was recorded on December 11th, 2018

The limited liability company (LLC) is a popular entity structure for small business owners who want liability protection without the perceived red tape associated with setting up and managing a corporation. Few business owners understand the requirements, implications, benefits, and restrictions associated with an LLC. This course covers the pros and cons of an LLC as well as the basics of formation, management, and taxation. This course also provides guidance on advising clients regarding choice of structure, working collaboratively with a client’s CPA, and how to avoid common LLC pitfalls.
