Wrongful death cases can be some of the most emotional, risky and challenging cases a lawyer can handle. They can also be very lucrative. This CLE will walk through tips for intake, setting expectations with the family, building up case value and how to frame the argument to the jury. Our specialty is in wrongful death cases arising out of a variety of settings. Our specialty is in motor vehicle accidents.

  • Joel Sturm
He worked for a major insurance company and was quickly entrusted to handle complex lawsuits worth millions of dollars. Joel honed his trial advocacy working for an insurer – handling a variety of lawsuits from motor vehicle accidents, insurance coverage and benefits disputes, property loss, premises liability, slip and falls, fire losses, construction defect and product liability claims – but his passion for helping people inspired him to use his experience, in the courtroom and representing a large insurance company, to aid injured people in maximizing their recoveries in a way other lawyers cannot.

Also in 2011, David was asked to be an instructor at the National Advocacy Center on the topic of jury selection after receiving the top grade in a week long training of prosecutors from around the country. He was named a Rising Star as one of the 2.5 percent of lawyers in the Personal Injury in multiple years.
